Exemplaire bien centré sur un très beau flan. Beau portrait d’Apollon. Frappe un peu molle au revers. Magnifique patine vert noir

Notre exemplaire se caractérise par l’adjonction d’un petit thyrse dans le champ à gauche, à peine visible sur notre exemplaire (WSC. 83-84).

THRACE - KALLATIS
(3rd - 1st century BC)
Callatis, located in Lower Moesia, was a colony of Heraclea Pontica, located about forty kilometers from Tomis. Lucullus seized Callatis in 72 BC and put an end to the coinage of the city.
