Poids léger. Buste particulier d’Hélène avec un petit diadème simple. Première émission après le changement de nom de la cité d’Arles devenue Contantina en l’honneur de Constantin II. Les lettres S|F du champ du revers peuvent se développer par Sæculi Felicitas (le siècle heureux).

Wife of Constantius I, mother of Constantine I - Augusta
Helena, mother of Constantine and first wife of Constantius Chlorus, received the title of augusta in 324. After the death of Fausta and Crispus, she went to the Holy Land. In Jerusalem, she discovered remains of the true cross and founded many institutions. She died in 328, was sanctified and entered in the calendar.
