Après Gordien III (an 2), la frappe de l’as est extrêmement rare et limité. A. Kotschev signale au total six types : deux pour Philippe II, un pour Hostilien, deux pour Trébonien Galle et un pour Volusien. Pour ce dernier un as de l’an XIII est signalé, pesant 5,00 grammes (K. 5/28). Aucune pièce n’est recensée par I. Varbonov et le Musée de Budapest ne possède aucun exemplaire.
