Commentary

Avec de nombreuses variantes, selon la position des lettres, ce denier est très clairement attribué à Vienne, en Isère. Plus de quinze exemplaires différents ont été repris dans le Belfort (B. 4832-4847) mais c’est pourtant le premier que nous proposons à la vente.
With many variations, depending on the position of the letters, this denier is very clearly attributed to Vienne, in Isère. More than fifteen different examples have been found in Belfort (B. 4832-4847) but this is the first one we are offering for sale.
