Commentary


Denier fourré. Pour ce type, M. Crawford a relevé une estimation de trente-six coins de droit et de trente-neuf coins de revers pour trois variétés. Ce type semble plus rare que ne le laissent paraître les ouvrages généraux.
Filled Denier. For this type, Mr. Crawford noted an estimate of thirty-six obverse dies and thirty-nine reverse dies for three varieties. This type seems rarer than general works suggest.
