La médaille or est décernée aux titulaires comptant 35 ans de services. Cette décoration, avec la palme et sa rosette, est présentée dans sa boîte d’origine de la Monnaie de Paris accompagnée du certificat d’authenticité. Elle fut décernée à M. Guillet en 2014.

The constitution was amended on January 28, 1958. October 1962 by referendum where a majority of 62% of votes approves the election of the President of the Republic by direct universal suffrage.
