Commentary

The RIG indicates only one provenance, Jersey 1875, and mentions only three examples (BN 10380, one example in the Le Mans museum and another in British n° 1934). We recently became aware of an FDC example in a private collection and the British collections actually keep three examples. This obol would therefore be the seventh example recorded.
