George Washington (1732-1799) is elected the first president of the United States. He wrote the Constitution of 1787. Presidents John Adams (1797-1801), Jefferson (1801-1809), Madison (1809-1817) and Monroe (1817-1825) allowed the first thirteen states to organize and train in the Union of new members: Vermont in 1791, Kentucky in 1792, Tennessee in 1796, Ohio in 1803 without forgetting Louisiana which Bonaparte sold for 15 million dollars.
