Gravé par James B. Longacre, le type Indian Princess Head (à la tête de princesse indienne) est frappé de 1854 à 1889. A l’époque, cette monnaie est peu prisée et donc peu frappée. Elle est désormais prisée des collectionneurs.

Theodore Roosevelt succeeded the assassinated president (1901/1909) and undertook an interventionist policy in America and posed as a mediator in regional conflicts. To Taft succeeded in 1913 Wilson who was to bring the United States into the war in 1917.
