Reverse description : Légende en 5 lignes entourée d’une frise végétale.

Commentary

Exemplaire issu du médaillier Franklin qui met à l’honneur la fresque de Masaccio: Conservée dans la chapelle Brancacci de l’église Santa Maria del Carmine à Florence, cette fresque reprend le thème biblique de la Génèse où Dieu chasse Adam et Eve du Paradis originel après avoir péché. Le commanditaire est Felice Brancacci, un riche commerçant et politique italien.

Théoriquement, le poinçon crabe est censé indiquer un titrage à 800 millièmes.
