Exemplaire sur un flan large et très éclaté. Beau buste de Tétricus II. Usure plus marquée au revers. Patine marron

Obverse description : Buste radié et drapé de Tétricus II à droite, vu de trois quarts en avant (A2).
Obverse translation : “Caius Pius Esuvius Tetricus Cæsar”, (Caius Pius Esuvius Tétricus césar).

Reverse legend : PA-X - AVG.
Reverse description : Pax (la Paix) drapée, debout à gauche, tenant une branche d’olivier de la main droite et un sceptre de la gauche.

Caesar
If Tétricus I became august on Victorin's death, Tétricus II did not become Caesar until around 273. The following year, Aurélien put an end to the Gallic Empire after the battle of Châlons-sur-Marne and seized the people of Tétricus and his son. They participate in the triumph of Aurelian in Rome at the end of 274. After which, they both survive and continue a senatorial career.
