Obverse translation : “Imperator Cæsar Tetricus Pius Felix Augustus”, (L’empereur césar Tétricus pieux heureux auguste).
Reverse
Reverse legend : PIETAS AVGG.
Reverse description : Laetitia (la Joie) debout à gauche, tenant une couronne de la main droite et un gouvernail de la main gauche.
Reverse translation : “Pietas Augustorum”, (La Piété des augustes).

Tetricus I was governor of Aquitaine before his accession. After three years of reign, he was finally defeated by Aurelian near Châlons-sur-Marne in 274. Presented in the triumph of the latter, in Rome, the new emperor granted him his pardon, brought him into the Senate and appointed him governor. from Lucania.
