Obverse legend : ANÉPIGRAPHE.

Obverse description : Tête casquée d’Athéna à droite avec l’égide sur la pointe du cou, coiffé du casque corinthien à cimier entourée d’un grènetis.

Reverse

Reverse description : Apollon, nu debout à gauche appuyé sur son arc de son bras gauche, tenant une flèche de la main droite ; dans le champ à gauche, un monogramme.

Reverse translation : (du roi Séleucus).

Commentary

Casque à visière simple avec un grand couvre nuque et des mèches ondulées sortant du casque. Nous n’avons pas relevé de liaison de coin pertinente avec les autres variétés. Semble beaucoup plus rare que ne le laissent supposer les ouvrages généraux. Semble inédit avec ces monoagrammes.
Single-visor helmet with a large nape of the neck and wavy locks emerging from the helmet. We did not observe any relevant corner connection with the other varieties. Appears much rarer than general works suggest. Seems to be unpublished with these monograms
