Coments on the condition:
Monnaie légèrement décentrée au revers mais bien centrée au droit. Le décentrage du revers laisse apparaître l'empreinte d'une autre monnaie qui devait être gravée sur le même coin. Le flan est légèrement voilé

On December 16, 1640, the Catalans revolted against their suzerain, Philip IV of Spain (1621-1665), and called on the French to help them. Louis XIII takes the title of Count of Barcelona, the French invade Roussillon in September 1642 and take Perpignan on September 9.
