Exemplaire sur un flan large et irrégulier, bien centré des deux côtés. Très beau portrait. Revers mou et frappe faible sur la légende. Patine grise avec des reflets dorés

Caesar
Salonin was raised to the cesarat after the death of his brother, Valérien II. Sent to Gaul, under the protection of Postumus then simple general, he was proclaimed august after the capture of Valerian I in June or July 260. Postumus, proclaimed august in his turn, besieged Salonin and had him put to death.
