Reverse description : Vénus assise à gauche, le bras gauche appuyé sur le dossier de son siège tenant une pomme de la main droite ; Cupidon debout à gauche tourné à droite devant elle.

Wife of Gallienus, mother of Valerian II and Saloninus - Augusta
Salonine, the wife of Gallien, seems to receive the title of augusta in 253, when her husband is associated with power by Valerian I. She loses at least two of her children, young Valérien and Salonin. She is murdered at the same time as her husband. Salonina is said to have had Christian sympathies.
