Le Dr Sun Yat-Sen ( 1866-1925) est le premier président provisoire de la République de Chine et un des fondateur du Kuomintang, le Parti nationaliste chinois. Ce parti gouverne toujours l’île de Taïwan depuis la partition de la Chine en 1949
