Obverse description : Buste diadémé, drapé et cuirassé de Valentinien III à droite, vu de trois quarts en avant (A'c) ; diadème perlé et gemmé.
Obverse translation : “Dominus Noster Placidius Valentinianus Pius Felix Augustus”, (Notre seigneur Placide Valentinien pieux heureux auguste).

Reverse legend : VICTOR-IA AVGGG/ R|V// COMOB.
Reverse description : Valentinien III diadémé, vêtu militairement debout de face, tenant une longue croix de la main droite et une globe nicéphore de la main gauche ; le pied droit posé sur un captif de forme serpentiforme dont seule la tête est visible.
Reverse translation : “Victoria Augustorum”, (La Victoire des augustes).
