Ce denier n’est pas serratus comme c’est normalement le cas; Pour ce type, M. Crawford a relevé une estimation de 104 coins de droit et de 116 coins de revers.

Lucius Procilius seems to be the historian, a contemporary of Cicero. He could be identified with the tribune of the plebs of 56 BC, accused by Clodius two years later of violence and condemned.
