Flan large et épais. Très beau portrait avec une patine vert jade restaurée. Faiblesse de frappe au revers sur la victoire et la légende de revers

Reverse description : Victoria (la Victoire) drapé marchant à gauche, brandissant une couronne de la main droite et tenant une palme de la main gauche ; devant elle, à ses pieds, un captif, les mains liées dans le dos.

Postume seizes the purple by eliminating Salonin, son of Gallien, of whom he had custody. He reigns over Gaul, Brittany and Spain. Did Postume toy with the idea of conquering the Roman Empire? Gallien, twice, will try to reconquer the "pars occidentalis" of the Empire, without success. Postume will remain in power for nine years, before perishing assassinated for having refused the sack of Mainz, a city which supported Lélien.
