Commentary

Historical background

Pictones / CENTRE WEST Uncertain

(First century BC)

Several types traditionally given to Pictones see their award challenged to a broader geographical area as Grand Central West or West of Gaul. Some also offer a grant to a military workshop, perhaps related to Éduens ... Do not imagine or dream Gallic economic space, even as Celtic closed. Currencies prove us wrong every day.
