Exemplaire sur un flan large et ovale, légèrement décentré au droit sur le portrait. Beau portrait bien venu à la frappe. Joli revers de style fin. Belle patine grise de collection ancienne

Gotarzes II is the second son of Artaban II (10-40) and the brother of Vardanes I (40-45) whom he succeeded after having assassinated him. His reign lasted another six years and he died a beautiful death, which is unusual for Parthian kings..
