Exemplaire sur un flan ovale et irrégulier, fortement stylisé au revers, parfaitement centré au droit avec le grènetis complet. Beau portrait. Revers stylisé. Patine grise superficielle

Osroes II seems to be a usurper who seized Iranian provinces at the end of the controversial reign of Vologèse IV (147-191). The typology of its coinage is quite close to that of the official monarch. It is possible that he kept power at the beginning of the reign of Vologesis V (191-208).
