Exemplaire sur un flan assez large, bien centré, avec presque tous les types complets mais la légende partiellement hors flan au droit. Agréable patine grise

Obverse description : Buste diadémé à droite, une sorte de croisette sur le front ; légende autour.

Reverse

Reverse legend : ANÉPIGRAPHE.

Reverse description : Croix ancrée, les bras munis d’un pendant à leur extrémité ; grènetis entre des annelets à 3, 6 et 9 heures et une croisette à midi.

Commentary

Cet exemplaire est typique du monnayage de Paris en argent. La légende n’est pas complète, mais facile à restituer ; la légende commence par une croisette initiale sous le buste. On remarque un O devant le cou, qui semble manquer sur tous les exemplaires publiés.
This example is typical of the Paris silver coinage. The legend is not complete, but easy to reconstruct; the legend begins with an initial cross under the bust. We notice an O in front of the neck, which seems to be missing on all published examples.
