Commentary
Poids très léger. Ce type semble beaucoup plus rare que ne le laissent supposer les ouvrages généraux. Par son diamètre et son poids, il ressemble plus aux monnaies avec la tête d’Apollon (HGCS. 7/ 427) . C’est la première fois que nous le proposons à la vente.

Sinope, colony of Miletus, was founded in the 7th century BC. Located on the northern coast of Pont-Euxin, a maritime city, it was one of the most important ports in the region.
