Exemplaire sur un flan épais, bien centré des deux côtés. Droit bien venu à la frappe, mais un peu mou. Usure régulière au revers. A été légèrement nettoyé

Commentary
Même coin de droit que le exemplaire du Cabinet des médailles de Paris (SNG. France 3/ 105, pl. 4). Une contremarque au revers dans un cercle linéaire (tête de lion à gauche).

PAMPHYLIA - ASPENDOS
(5th - 4th century BC)
Aspendos, located 12 kilometers from the top of the Eurymedon, was a great economic place and had a large port on the coast. Aspendos remained loyal to the Persians until the arrival of Alexander the Great and resisted him before being taken in 333 BC. Aspendos belonged to the kingdom of Pergamum between 189 and 133 BC.
