Commentary

Mêmes coins que les exemplaires de la collection von Aulock (SNG Aulock n° 4497, pl. 146) et de la collection von Post ( SNG von Post, n° 337, pl. 16). Au droit contremarque en creux sous le cheval, triskèle sinistrogyre ; au revers contremarque ovale en forme de tête de bovidé à l’exergue couchée.
Same dies as the examples in the von Aulock collection (SNG Aulock no. 4497, pl. 146) and the von Post collection (SNG von Post, no. 337, pl. 16). On the obverse, hollow countermark under the horse, sinistrogyrous triskelion; on the reverse, oval countermark in the form of a bovine head with a recumbent exergue.
