Florin d’or frappé sur un flan irrégulier. Quelques chocs sur la tranche. Présence de légères usures et faiblesses de frappe sur les deux faces. Fines concrétions sombres au revers. Monnaie présentant des hairlines et des rayures dans les champs suite à un précédent nettoyage. Hauts reliefs bien venus à la frappe

PRINCIPALITY OF ORANGE - RAYMOND IV
(1340-1393)
Orange often imitated the mints of its neighbors or even of much more distant regions. The king often reproached the princes for this, prohibiting the circulation of cash from the principality in the kingdom. On the death of Raymond IV, without a direct heir, the principality passed into the house of Chalon with Jean I (1399-1412).
