Caesar

Numérien is the youngest son of Carus, born around 253. He is named Caesar in December 282. He receives the title of Prince of Youth and is accepted as pontiff in the main sacerdotal colleges. After his appointment to the caesarat, he accompanied his father to the East in December 282. They reached Antioch in February or March of the following year. Numérien was elevated to Augustat in the month of March 283.
