Ce denier est attribué par Dominique Legros à Guillaume le Conquérant car des monnaies similaires furent découvertes dans le dépôt monétaire de Sébécourt (Eure) en présence de deux deniers anglais de Guillaume le Conquérant au type PAX datés de 1086-1087.
