Obverse description : Buste du Christ de face, portant le nimbe crucigère, vêtu du pallium et du colombium, la main droite bénissante et tenant de la main gauche les Évangiles.

Reverse legend : NICEFOR’ CE BASIL’ AVGG IN.

Reverse description : Bustes vus à mi-corps de Nicéphore II à gauche et de Basile II à droite ; ils sont couronnés, Nicéphore II porte le loros et Basile II la chlamyde ; ils tiennent tous deux la croix patriarcale bouletée.
