Nikola Ier Petrović-Njegoš(1841-1921) est prince du Monténégro de 1860 à 1910, puis roi du Monténégro de 1910 à 1918. Prenant le parti des Alliés en 1914, il doit fuir son pays envahi par les autrichiens en 1915. Il est déchu à la fin de la guerre, le Montenegro passant sous domination serbe et étant rattaché au Royaume de Yougoslavie.

Siding with the Allies in 1914, he had to flee his country when it was invaded by the Austrians in 1915. He was deposed at the end of the war, Montenegro coming under Serbian domination and being attached to the Kingdom of Yugoslavia
