He has completely revised the chronology of these kings who reigned on the borders of Hellenism, at the gates of India, on the borders of present-day Afghanistan, Pakistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. Eucratides I died assassinated by one of his sons around 145 BC. Was Eucratides II this one? He reigned for about five years over the kingdom of Bactria. He is a contemporary of Heliocles.
