Commentary
Rubans de type 2 aux extrémités bouletées. H dans le champ à gauche pour Herkoulios, lié à Maximien Hercule et rappelant la filiation divine de la Tétrarchie ou Maximien était rattaché à Hercule tandis que Dioclétien était placé sous la protection de Jupiter. Fronton du temple richement décoré.

Augustus
Maxentius, son of Maximian, was proclaimed Caesar on October 28, 306 in Rome, then took the title of Filius Augustorum. In 307, he was proclaimed august, controlling Italy and Africa with the help of Maximian. In 308, he lost Africa with the revolt of Alexander.
