Commentary


Pour ce type, M. Crawford a relevé une estimation de dix-neuf coins de droit et de dix-neuf coins de revers. Les coins sont toujours couplés, droit et revers comme sur notre exemplaire (CI) des deux côtés. Ce type est beaucoup plus rare que ne le laissent paraître les ouvrages généraux.
For this type, Mr. Crawford noted an estimate of nineteen obverse dies and nineteen reverse dies. The dies are always paired, obverse and reverse as in our example (CI) on both sides. This type is much rarer than general works suggest.
