Reverse description : Deux femmes causant ensemble, l'une jeune, l'autre âgée. Derrière celle-ci, un amour soulevant son vêtement pour s'en couvrir.

Commentary

Trace de cassure du coin. L'Hôtel du roi médiéval laissa la place à la Maison du roi, comprenant deux branches : l'une civile, l'autre militaire. Elle était dirigée par un secrétaire d'État à la Maison du roi. La maison civile est composée d'environ 4.000 personnes avec à sa tête le grand aumônier, le grand maître, le grand chambellan, le premier médecin, le grand maître des cérémonies, le grand écuyer, etc. Le service de la chambre du roi comprennait les gentilshommes de la chambre, les officiers de la garde-robe royale, les valets, barbiers, cravatier, chapelier, médecins, etc. ainsi que des intendants et contrôleurs généraux de l'argenterie et des menus plaisirs du roi.
