Exemplaire sur un petit flan ovale bien centré des deux côtés. Très joli droit, bien venu à la frappe, de haut relief. Beau revers de style fin. Jolie patine de collection ancienne avec des reflets dorés

Obverse description : Bouclier macédonien sur lequel est placé horizontalement la massue d’Héraklès tournée à droite et accostée de chaque côté de la légende.

(2nd century BC)
After the capture of Perseus at Pydna in 168 BC by Paul-Émile, Greece was separated into four republics. After Andriscus' revolt, Macedonia was heavily taxed and treated as a conquered province. Under the Empire, it became a senatorial province.
