Coments on the condition:
Exemplaire sur un flan très large et ovale parfaitement centré des deux côtés. Tête extrêmement large, légèrement touchée sur la barbe avec une légère entaille. Très beau portrait. Revers à l’usure régulière de frappe un peu faible. Très jolie patine de collection avec des reflets mordorés

Même coin de droit que l’exemplaire de l’American Numismatic Society (Le Rider 522 = ANS 448, A/ 278). Nous ne semblons pas avoir de liaison de coin de revers. Entaille de démonétisation au revers sur le cheval.

Coinage in the name and Philipp II type
Philip, son of Philip II and the half-brother of Alexander, was not entirely in his right mind. On the death of the conqueror and faced with the lack of power, in order to maintain the fiction of the unity of the Empire, he was proclaimed king, but in fact he had no power. He was assassinated at the instigation of Olympias, Alexander's mother, in 316 BC.
