Commentary


Au droit, il s’agit bien d’Artémis et au revers d’Apollon. Ce type semble plus rare que ne le laissent supposer les ouvrages généraux.

Philadelphia of Lydia was founded by Attalus II Philadelphus of Pergamum (159-138 BC) and took the name of its founder. The city was located southeast of Sardis and was placed in the valley of Koagamis.
