Commentary
D’après les Annales du Groupe Numismatique de Provence de 1994, ce type monétaire aurait été frappé entre 1681 et 1683. Utilisé pour la foire de Beaucaire, de nombreux exemplaires ont été “annulés” au revers par de fortes opérations de limage.
According to the Annals of the Numismatic Group of Provence of 1994, this type of coin was struck between 1681 and 1683. Used for the Beaucaire fair, many examples were “cancelled” on the reverse by extensive filing operations.
