Commentary
La ville de Mardyck, qui avait été prise par les Espagnols en 1645, fut reprise par le duc d’Enghien un an plus tard. Courtrai fut prise le 28 juin, Bergues quelques semaines après.
The town of Mardyck, which had been taken by the Spanish in 1645, was recaptured by the Duke of Enghien a year later. Courtrai was taken on June 28, Bergues a few weeks later.
