D’après nos recherches en archives, 473 marcs 6 onces 4 grains d’argent ont été monnayés en quarts et huitièmes d’écu en 1644 à Limoges, si bien que la production est estimée à 11990 quarts d’écu (chiffre comprenant des huitièmes d’écu). Le huitième d’écu est particulièrement rare. Ces monnaies furent délivrés entre le 9 janvier et le 31 mai 1644.
According to our archival research, 473 marks, 6 ounces, and 4 grains of silver were minted in quarters and eighths of an écu in Limoges in 1644, so the total production is estimated at 11,990 quarters of an écu (a figure that includes eighths of an écu).
