Feuardent précise à propos de ce jeton”Le type de ce jeton est attribué à Nicolas Briot par Rouyer, pages 44 et suivantes, planche III, n°16. La devise est tirée des Emblèmes d’Alcial et fait allusion au culte pieux de Louis XIII pour son père dont le priva le poignard d’un assassin”.
