Cette obole est frappée sur un flan irrégulier et large, recouvert d’une patine foncée. Léger décentrage au droit comme au revers si bien qu’une partie des légendes est hors flan

LIMOUSIN - VISCOUNTCY OF TURENNE - MARGARET AND BERNARD
(1304-1335)
The stronghold of Turenne was taken by Pépin le Bref in 767. Louis IV d'Outremer (936-954) erected the stronghold of Turenne as a viscountcy for the benefit of Bernard. This stronghold remained in the family until 1304. The beginning of manufacture is at the end of the 11th century and the monetary law was confirmed by Philippe III le Hardi in 1281.
