Commentary

MIR était une station spatiale russe. Mise en orbitre en 1986, elle reçut de nombreux modules supplémentaires jusqu’en 1996. Elle a été habité sans interruption jusqu’en 1999. En 2001, il a été décidé de la détruire en la faisant tomber dans l’Océan Pacifique.
