Le Shurale (ou Shurala) est un démon de la forêt présent dans la mythologie des Bachkirs et des Tatars. Pourvu de cornes, de longs bras et d’un corps recouvert de poils laineux, il erre dans les forêts, joue des tours aux paysans et bûcherons en changeant d’apparence.
The Shurale (or Shurala) is a forest demon present in the mythology of the Bashkirs and the Tatars. Equipped with horns, long arms and a body covered with woolly hair, it wanders in the forests, playing tricks on peasants and woodcutters by changing its appearance.
