Commentary


Poids léger. Monnaie fourrée. Portrait vieillissant de l’augusta, qui a une cinquantaine d’années au moment de la frappe.
Ce denier appartient à la troisième phase du monnayage de Julia Maésa avec l'apparition de l'étoile (Pierre Noire) au revers avec un portrait vieilli de Julia Maésa. Cette émission est postérieure à 220 et à l’arrivée de la Pierre Noire à Rome.
