Reverse description : Contremarques sur un flan lisse et vierge.
Commentary
Monnaie présentée dans son écrin en bois, avec certificat n°36078 de la JNDA. Ce type a été frappé entre 1601 et 1695. Les ouvrages donnent comme composition métallique pour ce type de 857 millièmes d’or pour 143 d’argent.

Since 1616, the Edo or Tokugawa (shogunate) period, Japan was closed to foreigners, except the Chinese and the Dutch. The country then experienced a great period of stability and development.
