Monnaie commune à “l’Ile de France” et à l”Ile Bourbon” frappée en 1779 par la Monnaie de Paris. L’”Ile Bourbon” fut rebaptisée définitivement “Ile de la Réunion” en 1848. L’”Ile de France” fut conquise par les Anglais en 1814 et renommée Ile Maurice..
Common coin for the “Ile de France” and the “Ile Bourbon” minted in 1779 by the Paris Mint. The “Ile Bourbon” was definitively renamed “Ile de la Réunion” in 1848. The “Ile de France” was conquered by the English in 1814 and renamed Mauritius.
