Patine grise hétérogène avec des taches noires, en particulier au revers. Petite usure sur certains hauts reliefs. Présence de quelques coups et rayures

Commentary
Médaille attribuée en 1902 à Gaston Thomson député de Constantine (Algérie) à l’occasion de la VIIIe législature. Il naquit le 29 janvier 1848 à Oran (Algérie) et décéda le 14 mai 1923 à Bône (Algérie). Il servit de témoin à Clémenceau lors du duel qui l’opposa à Déroulède suite au scandale de Panama. Il était également proche de Gambetta. Il prit la défense de Dreyfus. Maire de Constantine, il fut battu en 1898. Il fut député de 1877 jusqu’à sa mort sans discontinuité et détient la palme de la longévité parlementaire avec presque 55 ans dans cette fonction. Il fut Ministre de la Marine du 24 janvier 1905 au 22 octobre 1908.
